The European Energy Exchange (EEX) has published the 2021 calendar for the auctioning of European emission allowances (EUA) as well as European aviation allowances in coordination with the European Commission, the EU Member States and the EEA EFTA states auctioning on the common auction platform (CAP3) as well as with the competent German and Polish authorities.
As announced by the European Commission, the 2021 emission auctions will start delayed with the first auction being the German EUA auction on 29 January 2021.
