Action Required - Publication of Final Settlement Prices in December 2020

Due to the end-of-year exchange and bank holidays, the publication of Final Settlement Prices for EEX will be slightly amended as well as EEX Group DataSource support.

EEX Group DataSource support during exchange holidays

On 24^th and 31^st of December 2019, EEX Group DataSource support will be available from 8 AM to 12 PM in limited capacity.
During the remaining Exchange Holidays, December 25^th and January 1^st, the EEX Group DataSource support will be closed.

Publication of settlement prices during exchange holidays

EEX Power Futures
Next to Christmas Day and New Years Day, EEX Power Futures Contracts will not be traded on 24^th or on 31^st of December 2020. No prices will therefore be published on these days.

Please note that some particularities affect the upcoming last trading, expiry and settlement days. More information can be found in the related Customer Information sent by EEX on November 26th.

EEX Natural Gas Spot and Futures

EEX Natural Gas Futures
Contracts are open for trading both 24^th and 31^st of December, with early closing at 13:00 CET.

EEX Natural Gas Spot
Contracts can be traded throughout the end of year holidays with the exception of EEX CZ VTP Natural Gas contracts and PVB Natural Gas Spot Contracts. EEX Natural Gas end of year trading schedule can be found in detail in the related Customer Information of December 14^th.The prices will be published on all EEX Group DataSource Applications as usual between 6:00 and 9:00 PM CET.

The Settlement Prices of December 24^th and 31^st will be published on www.powernext.com as of 2:00 PM onward.

Environmental Spot and Futures
Please note that no EUA Primary Auction will take place after the 14^th of December 2020.  No prices will therefore be published after that date for the year 2020.

The Final Settlement Price for Wood Pellet Futures expiring year 2020 will be published on 23^rd  of December 2020. 

Other Emission and Wood Pellet Futures and Spot contracts will not be traded on 24^th and 31^st of December 2020. No prices will therefore be published on these days.
