In preparation for the upcoming holiday season, we would like to share with you the schedule
and details regarding trading on Gas Spot and Derivatives markets over the last days of the
year.
EEX Natural Gas Derivatives Markets
1) Schedule:
This year, EEX Gas Markets will NOT be subject to Early Closes. Therefore,
Derivatives Market will be trading as usual on both 22/12 and 29/12.
2) Bank Holiday:
Please note that both Christmas Day and Boxing Day, 25/12 and 26/12 will be Gas
Derivatives Bank Holidays in December 2023: Derivatives trading will be closed, as
well as OTC trades registration.
3) Reminder on trading ends:
15 December 2023 Last registration and final settlement EEX Natural Gas JKM LNG Jan24
27 December 2023 Last registration and expiry EEX Natural Gas Options Jan24
27 December 2023 Last trading day and final settlement for EEX Natural Gas Futures Q1 24
and Cal24
28 December 2023 Last trading day and final settlement EEX Natural Gas Futures Jan24
29 December 2023 Last trading and final settlement EEX Natural Gas Futures EGSI Dec23
EEX Gas Spot Markets
The EEX Gas Spot Markets trading schedule and special contracts are listed in the table
below.
In addition to the EEX Natural Gas Bank Holiday contracts, please note that we offer two
Individual Days “2023-12-27” and “2024-01-02” to support you with the holiday season this
year. Please find the table in the document attached.
