Last May, the European Energy Exchange launched EEX GREEN HYDRIX, the world's first market-based hydrogen index. EEX is now delighted to share that is is now also part of the EEX Group DataSource portfolio.
EEX GREEN HYDRIX will be provided via our EEX Group DataSource API in three different formats (CSV, XML and JSON). Just like the other EEX Group DataSource products, EEX GREEN HYDRIX can be ordered from our existing broad product range.
For the launch of EEX GREEN HYDRIX within EEX Group DataSource, we are offering the index free of charge for internal and external usage.
EEX GREEN HYDRIX reflects actual prices for hydrogen as a trading product and thus provides the necessary transparency as an impetus to drive the ramp-up of the hydrogen market. Market participants, regulators and other stakeholders thus receive orientation for their investment and can actively participate in shaping a carbon-free future.
