The European Energy Exchange (EEX) has published the revised EUA auction calendar for 2023. It has been adjusted for the period from July to December in order to account for the volumes of the “InnoFund RRF” pursuant to Article 10e(2) of the ETS Directive and the “MS RRF” pursuant to Article 10e(3) of the ETS Directive. The additional volumes will be used by the European Commission to finance actions under REPowerEU. For the “InnoFund RRF” 19,126,000 allowances will be auctioned in 2023, for the “MS RRF” a total of 16,199,000 allowances, both starting to auction from 03 July 2023. There will be no volumes auctioned for the Innovation Fund from 03 July until the end of this year.
