In preparation for the upcoming holiday season, we would like to share with you the schedule and details regarding the trading on both Gas Spot and Derivatives in the last days of the year.
For more information, all Natural Gas products tradable in 2023 can be found in our trading calendar, available in the download section of our website.
Derivatives Markets
1) Schedule:
This year, EEX Gas Markets will NOT be subject to Early Closes. Therefore, our Derivatives Market is open for trading as usual until 18:00 CET on both 23/12 and 30/12.
2) Bank Holiday:
Please note that Boxing Day on 26 December will be a Gas Derivatives Bank Holiday in 2022 : Derivatives trading will be closed, as well as OTC trades registration.
3) Reminder on trading ends:
15 December 2022 Last registration and final settlement EEX Natural Gas JKM LNG Jan23
27 December 2022 Last registration and expiry EEX Natural Gas Options Jan23
28 December 2022 Last trading day and final settlement EEX Natural Gas Futures and EGSI Q123 and Cal23
29 December 2022 Last trading day and final settlement EEX Natural Gas Futures Jan23
30 December 2022 Last trading day and final settlement EEX Natural Gas Futures EGSI Dec22

In addition to the EEX Natural Gas Bank Holiday contracts, please note that we offer two Individual Days “2022-12-28” and “2023-01-03” to support you with the holiday season this year:
