Subject to formal approval of the EEX Exchange Council, EEX will extend its product suite in European power derivatives with exchange trading and trade registration for financially settled Belgian and Dutch Power Futures on 22 June 2015. EEX has already offered Belgian and Dutch Power Futures as physically settled contracts, which will remain tradable. Moreover, EEX will offer the following location spreads starting from 23 June 2015: Netherlands – Phelix (Base and Peak), Netherlands – France (Base and Peak), Netherlands – Belgium (Base), Belgium – France (Base).
