Hereby we want to inform you about the upcoming publication of of EEX Market Data within EEX Group DataSource products around Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
EEX Group Trading Calendars
You can find an overview on all relevant calendars, holidays and expiry dates in our EEX-Group trading calendars.
EEX Derivatives products - all Commodities
- The trading calendar is not affected from any bank holidays. EEX will remain open for business as usual and no special procedures nor schedules are therefore required.
- As the end of the year falls on a Sunday, the final settlement price for Monthly Power Futures (December expiry) will be amended on 02 January 2024.
- All DEAT data (former German-Austrian Power derivatives market) will become obsolete from 01 January 2024 onwards. Therefore, no new data for DEAT contracts will be published in any stream.
EEX Agricultural Indices
- No EEX Agricultural Indices will be published on 29 and 30 December 2023.
- No EEX European Processing Potato Index will be published on 04 January 2024.
- Agricultural Indices will stop being published alongside the derivatives on our DataSource sFTP Server (path market_data/agricultural/derivatives/). From 01 January 2024, the Agricultural Indices will only be available under path /additional_data.
EEX Environmental Spot products
- The last EU ETS Auction of the year will be held on 18 December 2023. Please note, that the Auction Calendar for 2024 has not yet been confirmed. Currently, there are no auctions planned for the first two weeks of 2024. The new Auction Calendar will be published on our Homepage.
EEX Natural Gas Spot products and EGSI Index
- Natural Gas Spot products will follow an amended schedule. Further details can be found in the communication sent by the EEX Gas Market Operations department under the following link.
