Hereby we want to inform you about the upcoming publication of EEX products around Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Due to the end-of-year exchange and bank holidays, the publication of final settlement prices for EEX DataSource will follow a slightly adjusted schedule. Also we would like to inform you about the availability of the EEX Group DataSource support during the holidays.
EEX Group DataSource support during exchange holidays
On 24 and 31 December 2021, EEX Group DataSource support will be available from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM CET.
Publication of settlement prices during exchange holidays
EEX Power Futures
EEX Power Futures contracts will not be traded on 24 and 31 December 2021. However, the clearing prices, delivered by ECC, will be published on both of these days. The prices will be the same as of 23 and 30 December 2021 respectively.
Natural Gas Spot and Futures
EEX Natural Gas Spot and Futures contracts traded on EEX Gas are open for trading at both 24 and 31 December, with early closing at 1:00 PM CET and an early settlement procedure between 12:00 PM and 12:15 PM.
The prices will be published on datasource.eex-group.com as usual between 6:00 and 9:00 PM CET on the same day.
Please note that:
1. For the EEX Natural Gas EGSI Financial Day Futures, the prices published on 24 and 31 December will be preliminary and will correspond to the prices of the 23 and 30 December respectively.
The final settlement prices for 24 and 31 December will be recalculated on the following Monday (27 December and 3 January) and republished accordingly.
2. For EEX Natural Gas Spot, as 25 and 26 December fall on a weekend, 27 and 28 December are designated as bank holidays. Following the same logic, as 1 January falls on a Saturday, 3 January is designated as a bank holiday.
3. This means that the weekend on 25 and 26 December will be extended by two days (27 and 28 December) and the weekend on 1 and 2 January will be extended by one day (3 January). The same logic applies for the publication of EGSI Indices for the market areas CZ VTP, ETF, PEG, ZTP & PVB etc.
4. The EGSI “Benchmark” for the market areas CEGH-VTP, THE & TTF: this data will be made available on the trading days 27 and 28 December and 3 January as usual and is not impacted by the bank holidays due to a different calculation methodology. For the avoidance of doubt, the EGSI Benchmark weekends will only refer to 25 and 26 December and 1 and 2 January respectively.

EEX Environmental Spot and Futures
EEX Environmentals contracts will not be traded on 24 and 31 December 2021.
However, the clearing prices, delivered by ECC, will be published on both of these days. The prices will be the same as of 23 and 30 December respectively.
Please note that no EUA/EUAA Primary Auction will take place between 21 December 2021 and 10 January 2022. No auction prices will be therefore published during that time.

Agricultural Futures
