The European Energy Exchange (EEX) will change the MIC Code used for REMIT reporting to the European Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) for all power products on the regulated market as of 26 June 2020 (end of business).
The MIC Code will be changed from XEEE to XEER. The adjustment follows the successful integration of Powernext into EEX in January 2020.
All orders that are still open on Friday eob will be deleted to avoid changes of the UniqueOrderIdentifier within the order chain. However, orders can be re-entered as usual on Monday morning.
