On Wednesday 24 March 2021, GRTgaz and Teréga, in coordination with EEX, will proceed with several dry runs for the purpose of technical testing on the following EEX French Congestion Managements Products (CMPs):
- EEX GRTgaz TEREGA PEG (LPEG)
- EEX GRTgaz TEREGA PEG (CPEG) Downstream as well as
- the associated spread EEX GRTgaz TEREGA PEG Downstream (CPEG) / EEX GRTgaz TEREGA PEG (LPEG)
The dry runs are scheduled between 14:00 and 18:00 CET that day and will be conducted in the actual order books of these products and the trading system Trayport® ETSSM. The dry runs are essential to ensure that trading in these products can be conducted orderly at any time a congestion in the French transmission systems occurs.
To facilitate these dry runs and to avoid misleading signals, EEX’s Management Board of the Exchange hereby announces, that trading in these products will be suspended on Wednesday 24 March 2021 from 14:00 until 18:00 CET, i.e. all trades concluded in these products during this period of time will be null and void and will be canceled by the Exchange.
The dry runs will be carried out by the French Transmission System Operators and EEX. However, all other trading participants that are admitted to trading in these products may participate in the dry runs as well.
If an actual congestion in the French grid occurs on Wednesday 24 March 2021, EEX will postpone these dry runs and inform the market accordingly.
