We would like to inform you that EEX Nordic Power Futures will be renamed to EEX Nordic System Price Futures as of 25 March 2024. Accordingly, the long names of the former EEX Nordic Power Futures will be adjusted in all our EEX DataSource applications as follows:

Why are the names going to be changed?
The objective of this change is to ensure consistency in product naming for our existing futures and to create a clear differentiation from EEX Nordic Zonal Futures, which will be launched on 25 March 2025 as well.
How will the renaming to EEX Nordic System Price Futures affect market data?
The renaming to EEX Nordic System Price Futures and the change of corresponding long names will also be reflected in the naming of market data in all EEX Group DataSource streams. For technical reasons, the new names will be displayed in all 2024 CSV files and the XLSX file will be renamed for 2024.
Please note that these changes only affect long names, all product codes remain the same. Product codes and contract details are available on our EEX Website here.
In addition, there will also be a name change for the EEX Nordic Power Futures (EoD) subscription in our EEX Group webshop. From 25 March 2024, the subscription will be renamed to EEX Nordic System Price Futures (EoD).
