In our endeavour to continuously improve our services and provide you with all the necessary information regarding EEX market data, we are changing, as of 08 April 2025, the structure and accessibility of our EEX Group DataSource Circulars.
What are EEX Group DataSource Circulars?
Our EEX Group DataSource Circulars provide information related to EEX Group DataSource Products. They include technical information on the data delivery, any changes in content of the products, contractual information as well as market news and data insights.
Who receives our circulars?
To contact you, we use the main email address or the invoicing email address that you have stored in your EEX Group webshop account
What will change and how can I subscribe?
From 08 April 2025 onwards, we will use the new email address:marketdata@update.eex.com to send you our EEX Group Datasource Circulars.
Furthermore, we will split our circulars into three different categories.
News:
- EEX Market Updates and our Data Insight Newsletter
Technical information, such as:
- Data Alerts/Amendments - (Power, Natural Gas, Environmentals, Guarantees of Origin, Agriculturals, Hydrogen, Freight, Transparency data)
- RSS sFTP Monitoring
Circulars for these two categories - News and Technical information - can be easily subscribed/unsubscribed via our EEX website.
Contract-relevant information, includes for instance:
- Action Required – (technical amendments of any EEX Group DataSource application, amendments to the General Conditions and Remuneration, invoices)
This third category of circulars contains contract-relevant information. These circulars can no longer be subscribed to or unsubscribed from 08 April 2025 and will automatically be sent to your main email address or invoice email address stored in your EEX Group webshop account if you have an active EEX Group DataSource subscription with us.
What happens with my current subscription?
All recipients who currently have a subscription for the existing circular types are automatically transferred, respectively merged in the case of the Transparency Data Circulars.
For the News category, we will transfer all recipients who currently have a subscription for the Action Required - all commodities circular. This subscription can be changed at any time via our EEX website.
Last but not least, to ensure that we can reach you effectively and provide you with timely information, please keep your contact details always up to date in your EEX Group webshop account.
