EEX has been appointed by the European Commission to host the fourth phase of the Common Auction Platform (CAP4) for the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) emissions allowances, starting January 2027. The duration of the contract has been set for five years.
On 15 September, EEX will launch the Trade-at-Index (TAI) functionality for all its European gas markets.
