    Reminder Mandatory Reporting – Action Required - Submission Window closes on 31 August – EEX Group DataSource Products Usage Reporting (External Usage Licence)

    Dear Customer, 

    As mentioned in our announcement, communicated on 12 June 2026, we hereby send you the reminder for participation in this year's EEX Group DataSource Products Usage Reporting for External Usage Licences.

    What do I need to know and how can I submit my report? 

    Please submit your annual report by filling in the Reporting Form for External Usage  by  31 August 2026 below.

    Consequences of not fulfilling your reporting obligation

    Not reporting your usage may affect the remuneration in the next invoicing period, as per General Conditions 4.4.5. The consequences are as follows:  

    • a twenty (20) per cent mark-up on the last annual invoice  
    • advance payment on the basis of an appropriate estimate of the fee to be expected
    • Continuation of the DataSource Service Agreement dependent upon the payment of reasonable costs (full amount of advance) for an Audit
    • suspension of data delivery until all required reports are properly submitted  

    The right to terminate the DataSource Service Agreement without notice under our General Conditions Section 5.1.6 shall remain unaffected. 

    Seperate Reporting process for each EEX Group webshop user account and for each licence type

    Please note that we run the reporting process for each EEX Group webshop user account and for each licence type (Internal/Trading/External usage licence). 
    This may mean that several forms need to be submitted to us per company and per account. If you hold more than one licence type with us, you will get separate invitations to participate in these too.

    Why is it important to participate?  

    According to Section 4.4 of the General Conditions applicable to EEX Group DataSource Products (formerly Section 12 of the "Info-Vendor Contracts"), all customers are obliged to report how they use our licensed EEX Group DataSource Products once a year.

    Please note that this applies only to EEX Market, Index & Transparency Data products, not to EPEX Spot data products.  

    What information is requested and where can you find it?

    The average processing time is ~7 minutes. We ask you about the following aspects:

    • Your contact details
    • EEX Group DataSource Products you have subscribed to
    		Your EEX Group Webshop Account 
    • Your EEX Market Data Client-ID
    • EEX Group DataSource Products you have subscribed to
    		Your Invoice
    • The number of Subscribers (i.e., third parties or Affiliated Companies) with whom you share EEX Market Data, based on your current figures for the year 2026
    • Your specific usage case, defined in your contract, or your individual use case (examples available in the Reporting Form) 
    		Your Contract: DataSource Service Agreement

    Timeline

    1. 31 August: Closure of the active annual EEX Group DataSource Products Usage Reporting window.
    2. Until 31 October: Individual outreach by EEX Market Data Services where required, for example, in cases of contractual amendments or non-participation.
