This email serves as an advance reminder that the annual process for EEX Group DataSource Product Usage Reporting will commence in mid-June 2026.
Your reporting ensures transparency and accuracy in the use of EEX data products in alignment with Section 4.4 of our General Conditions. Additionally, it also provides you with a platform for your feedback that helps us to optimise and improve our service to meet your individual needs.
Why your participation is mandatory:
Reporting your usage of EEX Group DataSource Products is mandatory for all customers and has been agreed upon through your existing licence contract (DataSource Service Agreement) with us and the acceptance of our General Conditions.
To help us ensure a smooth process, we kindly ask you to
- verify that the email addresses linked to your webshop account are correct, or
- let us know if any updates are needed.
Keeping your contact information up to date helps to avoid potential issues such as missed reporting deadlines, communication difficulties, or even unintended additional fees.
What to expect:
Starting mid-June, you will receive a link to the EEX Group DataSource Products Usage Reporting surveys, which must be completed by 31 August 2026.
Please note that we run the reporting process for each EEX Group webshop user account and for each licence type (internal/trading/external usage licence).
This may mean that several forms need to be submitted to us per company and per account.
Answering the Reporting surveys takes approximately 7 minutes to complete and includes:
- Your contact details
- Your EEX Market Data Client-ID (to find on your invoice)
- Your specific usage case
- Your EEX Group DataSource products you have subscribed to
- In case of External Commercial Usage licence, the number of third parties or Affiliated Companies with whom you share EEX Market Data

Please check that the contact details in your EEX Group webshop account are up to date. - Mid‑June:
Start of the active window for the annual EEX Group DataSource Products Usage Reporting. Invitations and participation links will be sent to the same contacts as this Circular (if not updated until then). - 31 August:
Closure of the active annual EEX Group DataSource Products Usage Reporting window. - Until 31 October:
Individual outreach by EEX Market Data Services where required, for example, in cases of contractual amendments or non-participation.
Please note that not submitting the report may result in:
- An estimated remuneration being invoiced in advance
- Additional fees to your last annual invoice
- Temporary reduced provision of our products affecting your processes
Mid-June, we will contact you again and send you the link(s) to take part in the Reporting survey(s).
