Following the extension of expiries for EEX Natural Gas and Guarantees of Origin (GO) Futures on 07 April 2026 for order book trading and trade registration, we are pleased to inform you about the extension of our EEX Market Data portfolio. The corresponding market data is now available in our EEX Group DataSource products.
How to order EEX Market Data for EEX Natural Gas and Guarantees of Origin (GO)?
The new data is automatically included in the existing EEX Group DataSource products for our real-time applications as well as in our End of Day products. These can be ordered via our EEX Group webshop:

Please note that the new expiries extension is only included in our revamped REST API (v2). They are not included in the REST API (v1).
New Expiries for Natural Gas and Guarantees of Origin (GO) Futures strengthen Long-Term Hedging across Europe
With the introduction of the new contract lengths for EEX Natural Gas markets and Guarantees of Origin (GO), trading participants can now access significantly longer horizons for the affected futures, enabling more robust and flexible long‑term hedging strategies.
With these new expiries, EEX expands its product depth and strengthens the toolkit available to market participants across Europe. This supports further growth in major gas markets and provides long-term price stability, increased planning certainty, and more flexible management of renewable energy procurement strategies for Guarantees of Origin.
