    Action Required - Release note 1.5.3 affecting EEX Group DataSource REST API

    EEX Group DataSource Circular

    Dear Customer,

    Please be informed that the EEX Group DataSource Release 1.5.3 is scheduled for Production on Saturday, 07 March 2026.
    A short service interruption of a few minutes may occur between 10 a.m. and 01 p.m. CET, during which temporary limitations to EEX Group DataSource REST API v2 may be experienced.


    What are the changes?

    EEX Group DataSource REST API (v2):

    • Auctions API:
      • Parameter names will be updated to “from” and “to” for the endpoint /revs/auctions/{Cmdty}/{Area}  

    (previously: AuctDateFrom and AuctDateTo). This ensures consistent naming across all series endpoints.


    Additional Information

    We are currently enhancing our release management approach to provide greater transparency and predictability.
    Future releases will include:

    • Extended announcement lead times, allowing for better planning
    • An optional simulation environment to test technical changes ahead of Production

    All clients will be affected equally.
