    Product Update - Preparatory information on the file set-up for EEX Japanese Fiscal Year Futures on EEX Group DataSource sFTP server

    For the upcoming launch of EEX Japanese Fiscal Year Futures on 14 October 2025, we would like to share preparatory information concerning our EEX Japanese Power Futures (EoD) file set-up, provided on EEX Group DataSource sFTP server.

    Only XLSX-format for EEX Japanese Fiscal Year Futures on sFTP server:
    Please note that EEX Japanese Fiscal Year Futures will be provided only in XLSX-format. No CSV-format will be provided. For EEX Japanese Fiscal Year Futures, two additional fileswill be published under the file path /market_data/power/jp/derivatives/xls/YYYY:

    • FiscalYearPowerFutureHistory_JP_Tokyo_YYYY.xlsx
    • FiscalYearPowerFutureHistory_JP_Kansai_YYYY.xlsx 


    EEX Japanese Fiscal Year Futures (FOBF, FOPF, FQBF, and FQPF) will not be integrated into the existing files:
    The existing offering for EEX Japanese derivatives continues to follow the same calendar year as the delivery period, which is why all other Futures will continue to be published in the existing files.

    Delisting of EEX Japanese Power Year Futures:

    In conjunction with this launch, EEX will proceed with the delisting of the existing Japanese Power Year Futures. The delisting will take effect on Monday, 20 October 2025.
