In preparation for the upcoming launch of EEX Baltic-Finnish Markets on 09 September 2025, we would like to share some information concerning our EEX Group DataSource Products to help you integrate the new data into your systems.
Particular technical specifications that have to be considered
Both spot and futures products with physical delivery will be introduced for the gas market areas Lithuania, Latvia-Estonia, and Finland. The new data will automatically be included in our existing EEX Group DataSource Products for Natural Gas. Therefore, if you have a current EEX Natural Gas subscription, you will automatically receive access to the new files and data for the EEX Baltic-Finnish market.
Only xlsx format deployed on sFTP
Kindly note that data for the new markets will be provided via our End of Day sFTP product only in xlsx format. If you would like to redraw the data in csv format, you may do this via our real-time REST API product. For further details on the file formats for different markets, please reach out to us via phone number or email provided below.
Please find specific technical information about:
- Expiries, trading and delivery dates in our Contract details file
- Respective Product codes for the new contracts in our EEX Product Codes file
- Calculation methods for EEX Natural Gas based Indices in our Index Description file
