As a Commodity Exchange we are operating in a highly regulated environment. Energy prices and markets are in the focus of public and political interest. The Political & Regulatory Affairs team is in close contact with all relevant stakeholders. We advocate for markets which enable a sustainable and climate-friendly development.
My task as Director is to lead a multi-national team with different focuses (e.g. Climate policy, energy policy, financial markets policy) spread over three locations – Leipzig, Berlin and Brussels. The diversity of our team is of great value when it comes to giving answers and advise to often very complex political and regulatory questions.
What I really appreciate about EEX Group is that it as a global player which takes its responsibility on topics, like sustainability and climate change, seriously.
