European Energy Exchange offers spot and derivatives trading regarding power, gas, emission allowances and coal. Settlement of the transactions is ensured by an independent clearing house – ECC AG, an EEX subsidiary. With more than 200 trading participants from 20 countries the European Energy Exchange which emerged as the result of the merger between LPX Leipzig Power Exchange and the Frankfurt-based European Energy Exchange in 2002, is the most important energy exchange in continental Europe today.

Your profile

University education with a financial or commercial background
First professional experience in the field of trading (ideally, in energy trading or risk management)
Good knowledge regarding derivative financial instruments and their utilization in risk management, treasury and/ or trading
Ideally, basic knowledge of the European energy wholesale market
Excellent command of spoken and written English
High degree of motivation and autonomous work style
Obliging appearance and reliability
Very good communication skills
Readiness for travelling

Your tasks

Further development of existing exchange products and development of new exchange products
Support for the sales department
Support for the marketing department with regard to subject-specific questions
Planning, implementation and controlling of projects for launching of products
Development and implementation of training measures
