Installed capacity

The installed capacity is the net electric output of the reporting power plants. The electric net power (installed nominal power according to VGB) of a plant is the highest continuous output under nominal conditions which a plant reaches at the time of the hand-over. The nominal output of a power plant unit is established upon the hand-over of the plant to the power plant operator; the acceptance measurements form the basis for this. The nominal conditions refer to the annual average.
