Info-Products – Overview
Market data regarding all the products traded on the European Energy Exchange (EEX) and EPEX SPOT and registered at these exchanges for OTC Clearing is available in an electronic format as EEX Info-Products. In addition, the fundamental data for wind, solar and conventional power plants of the transparency platform “Transparency in Energy Markets” is offered.
The Info-Products provide the following benefits:
- Access to historical and / or current End-of-Day Data via the FTP server (xml, csv, xls) or via the Download Center on EEX Website (xls)
- Access to Delayed Data with a delay of 15-20 minutes via FTP-Server (xml)
- Access to historical and current Transparency Data via FTP-Server (csv)
- Daily sending of an SMS containing the prices from the various markets
Rights of use
Customers can get access to market data of EEX und EPEX SPOT by choosing one of the following packages: Info-Vendor, Info-User or Uni-Vendor. The three types are different in their provided usage rights.
Data are accessible through FTP-Server and Download Center on EEX Website.
Info-Vendor
The Info-Vendor includes the right to use data for commercial reselling purposes such as distribution of raw data, newsletters or any kind of derived data analytics and to publish date.

Info-User
The Info-User has the right to use, save and process the information - however, exclusively for own purposes. Any dissemination, publication and other commercial use of the data is not permitted.

Uni-Vendor
EEX provides educational and scientific institutions access to market data at preferential conditions.
The Uni-Vendor has the permission to provide students with EEX, EEX Power Derivatives and EPEX SPOT market data, EEX transparency data and the right to use and publish these data for scientific purposes.
