Overview of Products, Fees and Granted Rights

The EEX Information Products grant the user electronic access to end-of-day market data for the spot and derivatives markets products natural gas, emission rights and coal that are set up at EEX for trading and OTC clearing. Moreover, they provide electronic access to end-of-day market data for EEX Power Derivatives and EPEX Spot.

Modules

The new product structure differentiates between different product types or modules and different granted usage rights.
Four different modules are available and can be chosen separately:

  • module “Power” including the market data for power of EEX Power Derivatives and EPEX Spot
  • module “Natural Gas/Carbon/Coal” including all spot and derivatives market data for the mentioned commodities
  • module “Transparency Data” including all information on installed capacity, available capacity, net production and standard messages
  • module "Market Data Report", which is part of the modules “Power” and “Natural Gas/Carbon/Coal”.
    Its content has been adjusted to the packages. However, the reports can also be obtained separately.

Granted Rights

The usage rights have been changed as follows:

  • Info-User subscribers receive access to the chosen module for internal usage only.
  • Info-Media subscribers receive the right to publish the data of the chosen module (display rights).
  • Info-Vendor subscribers are allowed to resell the selected data on the basis of individual contracts.
  • Info-Students receive a 2-month access to all historic market data available on the EEX website for the purpose of scientific publication.

Special Offer for Registered Traders

Traders who are registered at EEX or EPEX Spot receive free Info-User access to the market data of the commodity for which they are registered. Please contact our market data team for further information.

Contract

The contract stands on the disruptive condition that the amount billed has been paid within four weeks to the indicated bank account. Otherwise the service will be stopped by EEX automatically and without further notice after expiration of the four week's deadline.
The contract runs indefinitely, at least however, till the end of the current year. The contract is ex-tended by a year as far as he is not discontinued up to the respective year 31.10. A refund of the already paid fee will not take place.
