Since November 1, 2002, Hans-Bernd Menzel holds the positions of Chief Executive Officer of the European Energy Exchange AG (EEX) and Managing Director of the European Energy Exchange in Leipzig.

Prior to his appointment, he was a managing partner of a renowned management consultancy in Frankfurt.

 Iris Weidinger
 Chief Financial Officer

Iris Weidinger was appointed a member of the management board of EEX as of 15 August 2008. In this capacity, Ms. Weidinger, who previously held the position of chief representative, will assume the function of the Chief Financial Officers (CFO) with the divisions of finance, controlling and human resources for the group. With the appointment of this renowned finance and tax expert as a full member of the management board the EEX supervisory board supports the exchange in its increasing internationalisation and the continuous alignment towards a strategic holding company.
