Your profile

University degree with a financial or commercial background
First professional experience in the field of trading (ideally in energy trading)
Good knowledge regarding derivative financial instruments and their utilization in risk management, treasury and/ or trading
Ideally, knowledge regarding the financial sector (banks and funds)
Excellent command of spoken and written English
High motivation and autonomous work style
Obliging appearance and reliability
Readiness for frequent travelling

Your tasks

Development and execution of measures for the further expansion within the financial service market
Maintenance of customer contacts by means of customer calls and customer counselling
Customer analysis and customer evaluation
Further development of our product portfolio
Planning, implementation and controlling of sales projects and sales measures
Design and execution of training measures at customers’ facilities

Member of Staff Market Surveillance (m/ f)

As a state-approved exchange, EEX operates a Market Surveillance Department monitoring trading on the exchange as well as the settlement of exchange transactions.

Because of the continuously increasing requirements concerning monitoring, the Market Surveillance De-partment is looking for you as a support.

Your tasks

Monitoring of the daily trading activities and processing of the trading data
Execution of longer-term analyses on the trading market
Documentation of investigation results
Updating relevant statistics
Collaboration in the preparation and processing of reports and announcements
Preparation of presentations and publications in terms of contents and graphics
Maintenance and further development of the relevant processes

Your profile

Academic degree with main focus in economics or electrical engineering
Ideally, first professional experience in the field of energy and/ or energy trading
Interest in databases and data evaluations (SQL inquiries)
Basic knowledge in the field of exchange trading
Very good command of both spoken and written English
Pronounced analytic skills
Independent and autonomous style of working within a team
Reliable skills in working with MS-Office
