Your tasks

• Preparation of monthly statements according to HGB [German commercial code], IFRS and in part RechKredV [German ordinance regulating financial reporting of banks and financial institutions] for the group and for individual companies
• Preparation of the annual financial statements and preparation for the publication of these
• Point of contact during audits, fiscal audits of the accounts and special audits
• Preparation of sales tax advance returns for individual companies and/ or the integrated company
• Checking of tax and accounting matters in case of changes in the scope of consolidation
• Master data management
• Project work
• General accounting activities

Your profile

• Qualification as a chartered accountant or comparable academic degree 
• Several years of professional experience in the preparation of financial statements within the sphere of corporate groups
• Practical skills in German and international accounting & tax standards (IFRS, HGB)
• Experience in the implementation of new standards as well as of company-law adjustments 
• Experience in the preparation of internal expertises with regard to accounting consequences of company-law amendments
• Good command of spoken and written English required
• Accuracy and strict compliance with deadlines
• High analytic reasoning power and independent work style within a team
