Training Overview
The EEX AG offers different training courses to its customers:

- EPEX training Spot Market Power
- EEX training clearing
- EEX general training course about exchanges
In our exchange trader training courses you will be educated as an exchange trader and take part in the exchange trader examination. This examination is one of the conditions to participate active in trading.
Furthermore we offer general and clearing training courses which give you an overview about trading and clearing of exchange transactions.
Kinds of training courses
Public Training:
All training courses are offered in carefully selected conference hotels. Our trainer will carry out the training sessions and optionally supervise the examination.

Inhouse Training:
We offer you this courses tailored to your needs. A trainer will carry out the training in rooms selected by you. Please note that we charge additional costs for these trainings.
Information for traders who have passed the former one-day Derivatives Market training
At the end of 2004 the product range of the EEX Derivatives Market was extended by Options. Since Options trading is very complex and includes high risk another training day is required. Therefore EEX Derivatives Market Training will be provided as two-day events to train Futures and Options trading. The test will be passed on the second day and includes both complex areas. Passing this test successfully is a requirement for the prospective admission as a trader to the EEX Derivatives Market. Traders who have passed the former one-day Derivatives Market training are only admitted to trade Futures.
Examination commission
According to § 6 of the admission rules of European Energy Exchange the management of the exchange has appointed the following examination commission:
